Complementing the work of our Boca Raton ObGyns, our Midwife, Lindsay Leider, works to ensure healthy outcomes for pregnant women. Our Midwife care services emphasize normalcy and wellness. It empowers women and gives them greater ownership of their health, their pregnancy, and the outcomes of that pregnancy with guidance, nurturing and help on health choices.
Certified nurse midwives or nurse midwives, have completed both nursing school and an additional graduate degree in midwifery. Lindsay is able to work in all birth settings, including hospitals, and birth centers.
Research shows that people who use midwives often lead to better outcomes for mothers and babies. Additionally, Midwives treat women without children. Reproductive care is a main responsibility of midwives.
